10th Grade is over

Baby’s Sophomore Year Milestones

– Finished it!
– Ate over 500 cheeseburgers, didn’t spit up once!
– Straight Bs with a couple of As
– Learned how to 2D/3D model with CAD
– Drove thousands of miles with G-Ma visiting ALL the Buc-ees!
– Broke up with one crazy girlfriend
– Learned to write in a planner, did it for a week-straight one time (Mommy and Daddy were happy but also a little frustrated…)
– Packed all his own suitcases and never forgot underwear!
– Got into the IB Diploma program for Junior/Senior years
– Lettered again for golf (will be co-captain with JM next year!)
– Completed three AP classes (Physics, World History, Pre-Calc) and survived the AP Exams!
– Got his own therapist and goes regularly
– Walked unassisted across the stage for the Half-Cap Ceremony–celebrating their halfway mark–in a Bolo tie, gave finger guns (??)
– Refused 7-10 haircut requests
– Qualified for TSA Nationals with his buddy Liram (headed to Nashville to compete next month!)
– Narrowed down college list–starting official tours in June with UGA (What the actual fuck?!)
– Got driver’s license, six months later picked up his first official passenger–Molly one of his buddies since elementary school–and went to Crumbl
– Kept his room “clean” for 2 days in a row one time (Mommy and Daddy were so proud!)
– Walked to school with Araf as much as they could (thanks Sharmin, for letting him park there!)
– Drove I-285 by himself, successfully made it home
– 1250 on PSAT
– Learned how to walk dishes to the sink when he’s finished with them (working on how to rinse the food off and put them in the dishwasher)
– Got a Facebook account to “see family more” and also to “browse Facebook Marketplace.”
– Completed his fourth year of French class, learned how to say, “That’s fire!” in French (C’est fue)
– Named Student of the Year for December (Mommy and Daddy found out in May)

I’m calling it a success. Here’s to Junior year!
